To celebrate the Year of the Ox, the Chinese community will host the "Splendor of the Century - China 2009 Spring Festival Gala" at Strathmore Music Center on Sunday Jan. 18, 2009. Almost all of the major Chinese American art organizations in the Washington DC area will come together to showcase their vocal, instrumental, dance, and acting talents for your enjoyment. The Gala will be directed by the same wonderful production group who brought you the 9th Chinese Cultural Festival and last year's Spring Festival Gala. The showcase itself will inherit the artistic integrity and advanced digital technology you have previously enjoyed, integrating both the Eastern and Western cultures. Presenting the Gala to you as a gift from the Washington DC Chinese community, we hope you will come and join us to welcome the arrival of the New Year.
